She's the phenomenal woman who pioneered the first Southern Cross Festival's just over a decade ago, and of her own free will is responsible for the beautiful backstage area at Splashy Fen, where musicians could lounge in a hammock and eat her home-made soup on a constant basis.

Totally unexpected, Zeta incurred a brain hemmorhage 2 weeks ago, and had to go into surgery last week to have a brain operation called aneurysm.

her son and daughter - Jason and Kyra are trying to raise the funds needed - a total of R120 000, of which friends and family have already pulled together and raised R32000.

The Durban music community has a deep love for Zeta, and is showing it by coming together for a benefit concert this Sunday 23 August, 4pm

Zackattack, Zack's (Wilson's Wharf)  has morphed from its usual line-up of 2 bands to a whopping 12 band-line-up, and whats awesome is that its free to the public.

Artists include Steve Fataar, The Otherwise, Maisha, Shomon, Avatar, T.H.O.T.S, Fiona Tozer, Avade, Super Sonic, Celtic, Heels Over Head and the drummers of the Drumshack. Clifi Westraad  - whom the music industry pulled together for last year, in Concert for a friend # 1 when he was taken down by Meningitis (and has fully recovered) will be doing the sound and lighting. Glenwood Music Village has come forth and will be supplying the backline of instrumentaion for the bands!
